Day 173 - June 7th

James had a very difficult day. A blood culture came back positive for staph infection and he had a fever of 101. His blood pressure needed to be maintained through medication and he received 3 units of blood. The doctors decided to put him on dialysis this evening and immediately following the procedure (which takes three hours) the dialysis catheter will be surgically removed because they suspect it to be infected. He is still adjusting to the new pain medication and was quite sleepy for the majority of the day accompanied by some minor withdrawal symptoms. Please pray for healing from this new staph infection and for his blood pressure to become stable.

Psalm 111 Praise the Lord! I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright and in the congregation. The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them. His work is honorable and glorious, and His righteousness endures forever. He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and full of compassion. He has given food to those who fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant. He has declared to His people the power of His works. In giving them the heritage of the nations. The works of His hands are verity and justice; All His precepts are sure. They stand fast forever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name.

Lord, God Father we trust in you with James and Cathy's lives. Lord we praise Your name in this difficulty. Lord we know You made them and that All things are for our good for those who love You, those called according to Your purpose. Lord help us to see Your glory and give You thanks in all things. We ask for healing for James and Your sovereign hand on both of them. Please lift them up with Your peace and guidance. God please continue to bless them as You so lovingly do always. Thank You Lord, In Jesus name, Amen.

Love you guys, The Moreno's
