Day 177 - June 11th

James took a trip outside for 30 minutes today to enjoy the fresh air. What an incredible encouragement to his spirits! Cathy was able to get a video of a few minutes of the trip. Click on the link below - James has a message to all of you. Enjoy the video and see what our amazing God has done and is doing in the life of James. You may want to turn up the volume a little. He is regaining the strength back in his voice, but it's still a little slurred and quiet. Please continue to pray for James as he is still very sick. Also, praise our God for His grace and mercy.

James and Family,

Hello with love!!! My name is Melva Aranda. We haven't met in person, but we know each other through family and friends.

I have been up all night worrying about my own silly things. Tired, but now sleepy, I decided to check on your progress...and there you were!!! To see your improvement and hear you speak makes my heart soar.

You are proof that "all things through Christ are possible". You are such a witness for the Lord.

My prayers for you (and family) will continue. I praise the day we meet face to face.

Melva Aranda (Bert, Nick and Alex, too)

BLESSED BE, BLESSED BE THE LORD. YOU LOOK AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

James through all of this you has been a touchstone for me. With all the craziness in my life your mission has been clear; you kept me close to our Father. Even when there was room for the darkness praying for you made me stronger.

Love and prayers to you AND Cathy who by sheer faith has shined so bright, so patient and diligent with our Lord's love...you gotta wear shades!! (I hope that brought a smile, those a precious commodity!! Its time for smiles and tears of only joy!!)

Hope you get to go home soon!

Love and prayers, Shari
(Sidney's sister/Jodie's Aunt)

Hey Cathy & James,

It's Sammy James Jr's Friend and Roomate, I'm soo happy to see you talking and enjoying the weather we had last week. I just want you to know that James has kept me and my Family informed from day 1 and my Family and their church have been following your progress and praying for you daily along with the other 300 members of Ocean View Baptist Church in San Pedro, Ca. and we will continue to pray for your recovery.

I hope to see you soon up and around and back to your old self and laughing with you again. James really loves you very much and always talks about you!

You stay blessed and remember your recovery is in God's hands and in his time!

Love and Blessings!

Hello James! I was second in line at Northridge Hospital on December 18th to get the same exact surgery by the same exact surgeon and have thought about you every single day since then! I have prayed for you and my family has prayed for you. As a family we watched your video on Father's Day and my wife had tears in her eyes and I felt so emotional watching your video. This is a miracle! You and your family are a testimony of faith! i have wavered in my faith but you and your family are so strong to me! Praise God!
