This is a blog to update friends about James Daniels. On December 18, 2007, James went in for routine back surgery. Tragically, a major vein was torn and the doctors spent seven hours trying to stop the hemorrhaging and save his life. During this process, they had to stop the blood flow to and from his left leg which led to major tissue damage that ultimately led to amputation of his left leg.

I was thinking about you today, James. Praying for you, and praying for us all, that we will take our lives in Christ more seriously, for we have this glorious calling to live out the Gospel every day.
Stay strong, brother, and keep lifting up our Savior during your suffering and trial. It is a sweet smell to God, and it is an encouragement to those of us whose lives you have touched.
