James will be having surgery tomorrow (Thursday) at 5:00pm. This is a preliminary procedure by the plastic surgeon to prepare for the surgery to cover his wound next week. Please pray for wisdom for this surgeon and that all will go well. Pray that there will be no excessive bleeding. There shouldn't be, but they are prepared just in case. Pray that James would not be discouraged. This is not a setback, but a necessary procedure to help him heal faster. Unfortunately, because of this surgery and the one to follow next week, his transfer to Rehab and the removal of the trach are put on hold for now.

Heavenly Father~
Guide the surgeon's hands as they work on your precious son, James. May your peace surround and envelop James and Cathy, and may hope be the air they breathe. Would you please accelerate the healing process and help James to believe today's trials will not last forever. We plead mercy, and strength.
