This is a blog to update friends about James Daniels. On December 18, 2007, James went in for routine back surgery. Tragically, a major vein was torn and the doctors spent seven hours trying to stop the hemorrhaging and save his life. During this process, they had to stop the blood flow to and from his left leg which led to major tissue damage that ultimately led to amputation of his left leg.

Thank the Lord, he brought you through Now you can come out of that room It was in God’s plan, since the first day For many reasons, like teaching me how to pray

They say that you don’t know what you have ‘til it’s gone But we knew what we had, and we’ve missed it so long Now you’ve come back and that hole’s been filled The deep hole that your absence drilled

James had a fever today of 102.6. Blood cultures were performed to check for new infections with results in 72 hours. He has been in a lot of pain following yesterday's surgery. Please pray for speedy healing and comfort from the pain. Thank you.
