This is a blog to update friends about James Daniels. On December 18, 2007, James went in for routine back surgery. Tragically, a major vein was torn and the doctors spent seven hours trying to stop the hemorrhaging and save his life. During this process, they had to stop the blood flow to and from his left leg which led to major tissue damage that ultimately led to amputation of his left leg.

We regularly keep up with the James Daniels story, and pray for him regularly. We are Brian Howard's parents, and we are currently in Houston. As we are able, we share his story with others and ask them to pray as well.
