James is doing well. No negative signs from the antibiotics being discontinued. The plastic surgeon says the wound is healing well, but still not completely stable and ready for James to go to Rehab. He is anticipating another 3 - 4 weeks. This is discouraging news for James, but he realizes the importance of the situation. Please pray for the wound to heal quickly and that he will be able to transfer to Rehab sooner than expected. Pray for James to have patience and peace during this long wait.
Psalm 57:1, 2, "Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in You my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge, till the storms of destruction pass by. I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me."
Romans 8:28, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose."

I spoke with James yesterday, and he seemed in good spirits. He joked that everyone had started to look like Big Bird with those hospital gowns! While he is disappointed about the wait for therapy, he knows the Drs are doing what they think is best for his recovery.
James said to pass along how much he misses everyone. Pray that he will be able to persevere, and that his healing will come rapidly.
